Mary-Grace Phillips

4th & 5th Grade Assistant Principal



Mary Grace Phillips was born in Alabama and moved to Leesburg, Florida at the age of 9. She is a product of the Leesburg area schools and is proud of it! She attended Lake Sumter for two years, then went on to the University of Central Florida where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education. In 2015, she earned a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from American College of Education. After graduating from UCF in 2011, Ms. Phillips began her teaching career at Leesburg Elementary! She completed her senior internship there and became a classroom instructor where she taught first and fourth grades. She continued with her career to become an Instructional Coach in Writing, Math, and Science. In 2018, she joined the LCS district team as a Regional Program Specialist, supporting all of our elementary, middle, and high schools in Region 2. Ms. Phillips is extremely excited about her new position as an Assistant Principal under the leadership of Mrs. Jordan, and feels honored to work alongside the hardworking faculty and staff at Leesburg Elementary School!
